Biography
NOBRO (capitalized as NOBRO) is a Canadian garage punk band based in Montreal, Quebec. The band was formed in mid-2014 by vocalist and bass guitarist Kathryn McCaughey, vocalist and guitarist Marianna Florczyk, and vocalist and drummer Martha Rodriguez. Sarah Dion replaced Rodriguez in 2015, and Florczyk departed in May 2017 to be replaced by Gabrielle La Rue, who joined at the same time as keyboardist and percussionist Lisandre Bourdages. Karolane Carbonneau replaced La Rue in November 2018. NOBRO has released several EPs, including "Stoke Level: High!" in 2016, "Sick Hustle" in 2020, and "Live Your Truth Shred Some Gnar" in 2022, as well as an album titled "Set Your Pussy Free" in 2023.
