Joseph T. Pernice (born July 17, 1967) is an American indie rock musician and writer, originally from Ontario. He has fronted several bands, including the Scud Mountain Boys, Chappaquiddick Skyline, The New Mendicants, and the Pernice Brothers. Pernice has released several albums throughout his career, including "Big Tobacco" in 2000, "It Feels So Good When I Stop" in 2009, "Richard" and "Could It Be Magic" in 2020, and "Sunny, I Was Wrong" scheduled for 2026. He is also associated with the label Sub Pop.
