Roxy Music unveils an unreleased demo of 'Pyjamarama' for the reissue of 'For Your Pleasure'

Roxy Music has recently shared an unreleased demo of 'Pyjamarama', a track that will be included in the expanded reissue of their album 'For Your Pleasure'. This demo, titled 'Pyjamarama – guitar & vocal', dates back over 50 years and offers a stripped-down interpretation featuring only Bryan Ferry's voice and an acoustic guitar. Recorded while Ferry retreated to an isolated cottage in the Derbyshire Dales to focus on writing, this version also marks the first time he composed a song on guitar.

The reissue, scheduled for November 6 under UMR/Island EMI, will include three CDs and a DVD featuring demos, rehearsals, studio takes, BBC sessions, and concert and television recordings from 1972 and 1973. Among the rarities are piano sketches of 'Do The Strand' and 'Beauty Queen', as well as unfinished versions of 'In Every Dream Home A Heartache'. A lost performance of 'Pyjamarama' on Top Of The Pops in 1973, recently rediscovered, is also part of this collection. This reissue promises to be a true treasure for Roxy Music fans, offering a unique glimpse into the band's creativity during that time.

PLAVE: The Virtual Group Breaking Boundaries with 'HYPERDRIVE'

Since their debut in 2023, the virtual idol group PLAVE, composed of YEJUN, NOAH, BAMBY, EUNHO, and HAMIN, has consistently pushed the limits of what a virtual group can achieve. After conquering the stages of Incheon, they are now preparing to meet their American audience, including in Los Angeles, as part of their world tour 'KEEP IT MANIC'.

Their fifth mini-album, 'HYPERDRIVE', marks a turning point in their career. YEJUN describes this album as a new landscape, symbolizing a shift after a period of rapid growth. Unlike their previous projects, 'Caligo Pt.1' and 'Caligo Pt.2', which explored the emotional intensity of rock, 'HYPERDRIVE' ventures into new genres for the group, such as EDM and bossa nova.

For PLAVE, 'HYPERDRIVE' is not just a continuation of their story but the beginning of a new chapter. EUNHO emphasizes that this album represents a change in their approach, seeking to explore completely new directions rather than simply intensifying their previous sound. With this new release, PLAVE continues to redefine its artistic identity while expanding its international audience.
