Loud is the stage name of Simon Cliche Trudeau, a Canadian rapper from Quebec, born on February 17, 1988, in Montreal. He began his musical career with the band Loud Lary Ajust before launching his solo career. His debut album, Une année record, was released in 2017 and received positive attention, particularly during a tour that included performances in France. In 2018, he collaborated with Cœur de pirate on the track "Dans la nuit" and won several awards, including the SOCAN Songwriting Prize and the Félix Award for Hip Hop Album of the Year. His second album, Tout ça pour ça, was released in 2019 and was also longlisted for the Polaris Music Prize. He released his fourth album, Aucune promesse, in 2022, with another album, Douze sur douze, scheduled for 2025.
