Biography

Dominique Fils-Aimé is a Canadian singer from Quebec, born on July 10, 1984, in Montreal. She was named Radio-Canada's Revelation for 2019-2020 in the jazz category. Raised in Montreal by immigrant parents from Haiti, Fils-Aimé competed in the third season of TVA's singing competition La Voix in 2015, where she was eliminated in the semi-final round. Her debut album, Nameless, was released in 2018 and explored blues music. In 2019, she released Stay Tuned!, which won the Juno Award for Vocal Jazz Album of the Year in 2020. Her third album, Three Little Words, was released in 2021 and focuses on soul music. In 2022, she was recognized as an Artist for Peace by UNESCO.
