Biography
Tiga James Sontag (born September 18, 1974) is a Canadian musician, DJ, record producer, and music programmer. He is known for his remixes of songs like "Washing Up" and "Comfortably Numb". Tiga has also released original compositions such as "You Gonna Want Me" and covers like "Hot in Herre" by Nelly. In the 1990s, he promoted rave parties and opened a record store, DNA Records, before founding his label Turbo Recordings in 1998. His album "Sexor" (2006) won the Juno Award for Dance Recording of the Year in 2007. Tiga continues to perform at clubs and festivals worldwide.
