Biography

Rainbow Sun Francks (born 3 December 1979) is a Canadian actor known for his role as Lt. Aiden Ford in the television show Stargate Atlantis, and his recurring roles on The Listener, The Umbrella Academy, and High Fidelity. He has also worked as a composer and producer for the hip-hop group The Oddities and was a prominent VJ for the Canadian channel MuchMusic. Francks is the son of musician Don Francks and dancer Lili Francks, and the brother of actress Cree Summer. He starred as Frank Johnson in two western TV movies: The Price of Peace and Good Men and Bad. In 1997, he co-starred in the CBC telefilm The Planet of Junior Brown and received a Gemini nomination for the 1999 telefilm One Heart Broken Into Song.
