Biography
Marie-Mai Bouchard (born July 7, 1984) is a Canadian singer from Montreal. She gained fame as a finalist on the first season of the Quebec reality show Star Académie in 2003. She launched her career with her debut album Inoxydable in 2004, followed by several successful albums including Dangereuse Attraction, Version 3.0, Miroir, M, and Elle et moi. All her albums, except for M and Elle et moi, have been certified platinum. In 2011, she collaborated with the band Simple Plan on the bilingual song Jet Lag. Marie-Mai also performed at the closing ceremony of the Vancouver Olympic Games in 2010. In addition to her music career, she is a television host and coach on the show La Voix. She is the mother of a daughter named Gisèle, born in 2020.
