Biography
Luna Li, whose real name is Hannah Bussiere Kim, is a Toronto-based singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer, born on October 3, 1996. She rose to prominence during the early months of the COVID pandemic after a series of videos showcasing her home-performed multi-instrumental jam sessions, where she played the harp, keyboard, guitar, and violin, went viral on social media. Kim began writing music under the name "Veins" and released the record Moon Garden in 2015. As Luna Li, she self-released her debut EP, Opal Angel, in 2017. After signing with AWAL Recordings and In Real Life, she released the Jams EP, a compilation of her viral jam sessions, in 2021. Her debut album as Luna Li, Duality, was released in 2022, followed by her second album, When a Thought Grows Wings, in 2024.
