Harry Adaskin, (Latvian: Harijs Adaskins; October 6, 1901 – April 7, 1994) was a Canadian violinist, academic, and radio broadcaster. He emigrated to Canada and had a notable career in classical music, both on stage and on the radio. Adaskin was also recognized for his contributions to music education and was appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada for his services to Canadian music and culture.
