Béatrice Mireille Martin, better known by her stage name Cœur de pirate, is a Canadian musician born on September 22, 1989, in Outremont, a borough of Montreal. She began her musical career with her debut album, 'Cœur de pirate', released in 2008 in Quebec and in 2009 in France. Her second album, 'Blonde', was released in 2011. In 2013, she composed the original music for the series 'Trauma', and the soundtrack album was released the following year. In 2014, she also created the soundtrack for the video game 'Child of Light'. Her third album, 'Roses', was released in 2015 and achieved significant success in France. In 2018, she celebrated the tenth anniversary of her career with the album 'En cas de tempête, ce jardin sera fermé'. In 2021, she released an instrumental album, 'Perséides', followed by her sixth studio album, 'Impossible à aimer'. Cœur de pirate is known for her lyrics about romantic relationships and her distinctive voice.
