Brave Shores is a Canadian synth-pop duo formed in 2014 by Jay McCarrol and his sister Stefanie, hailing from Toronto, Ontario. McCarrol is also known for his work as a composer, writer, and actor, particularly for the independent web series "Nirvana the Band the Show" and its film adaptation. In addition to their musical career, the duo has toured Canada and internationally. Their song "Never Come Down" gained notoriety after a video of Donald Trump dancing to it went viral during the 2016 United States Presidential Election. Brave Shores has released several albums, including "The Kid Detective" in 2020 and "Blackberry (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)" in 2024.
