Biography

Blitz//Berlin is a Canadian rock band from Toronto, Ontario. Formerly known as Theset, longtime friends and musicians returned to the scene as an electro punk group in 2013. The group consists of Martin Macphail, Dean Rode, and Tristan Tarr, who began their film composing career in Toronto in 2014 before relocating to Los Angeles in 2018. They gained international recognition in 2016 for their award-winning song "Surfboard Fire," composed for the official trailer of The Girl on the Train. Blitz//Berlin is also known for composing music for films and trailers, including Blade Runner 2036: Nexus Dawn and Top Gun: Maverick.
