Story
Chemlab is an American industrial rock band formed in 1989 in Washington, D.C. by Dylan Thomas More, Joe Frank, and Jared Louche. The band is influenced by pioneers of the industrial genre, such as Throbbing Gristle, and blends experimental sounds with rock and metal within an electronic framework.
Their first EP, 10 Ton Pressure, was released in 1990. After parting ways with Joe Frank, the band relocated to New York City, where they continued their career. Chemlab released their debut album, Burn Out at the Hydrogen Bar, in 1993. They have also toured with bands such as White Zombie, KMFDM, and Nine Inch Nails. Chemlab is featured in KracRadio's programming with the track "Exile On Mainline (Demo) (ARMALYTE XX)."
