Ma Critique / My Review
French
Trip hop has always been a genre that I love, but never listen to enough, if I can use Portishead as an example. In fact, trip hop has influenced many artists such as Bjork, Nine Inch Nails, Gorillaz and so on. So I was very excited to be able to relax and listen to a song like that. We had received a request for a review on KracRadio and when I saw that the song was Trip Hop, I decided to give it a try.
The song begins with a rather minimalist drum and music ensemble, and it's a good thing too, because the importance of this song is the vocal textures as a whole. A fine production of vocal effects that take you into a beautiful universe.
Phase IV came out in 2020 and that's probably what I blame the band for, is not having more songs, because Phase IV is really good. It's like having an aperitif but not having the main course. I'm really curious to know what's next for this band.
In short, a band to keep an eye on, if you like this style you've got a very classic song in this genre to enjoy.
