Sonia Nawri is an emerging Spanish artist of international stature, with a very distinctive style and an equally remarkable voice. Her style is reminiscent of '90s artists, with sounds that oscillate between indie pop and indie rock. Ethereal, abstract sounds mixed with catchy vocal melodies that are impossible not to hum. Her sound has been strongly influenced by artists such as Florence+the Machine, Cranberries and Björk.
Comme elle l’indique elle-même, son chemin vers la musique s’est fait complètement par hasard après son retour en Murcie (Espagne) après avoir quitté l’Allemagne, où elle a déménagé en 2018 : « Après avoir décidé de revenir pour me concentrer sur la musique et sortir mon premier EP auto-édité, tout a conspiré pour que je poursuive mon rêve musical ».
Ainsi, depuis la sortie de son EP, « Law and Chaos », en janvier 2021, elle n’a pas cessé de recevoir de bonnes nouvelles sur sa musique, recevant des critiques élogieuses de la part des journalistes musicaux et du grand public.
