Biography
Story
Nitzer Ebb are an English EBM group from Chelmsford, Essex, formed in 1982 by Douglas McCarthy, Vaughan Harris, and David Gooday. The band originally went by the name La Comédie De La Mort but soon changed it to Nitzer Ebb, a name created by cutting up and randomly arranging words and letters to evoke a Germanic feel without using actual German words.
Their discography includes several albums and EPs, such as "That Total Age" (1987), "Belief" (1989), "Ebbhead" (1991), and "Industrial Complex" (2009). Nitzer Ebb has also been featured on KracRadio with the track "Down On Your Knees (Kant Kino Mix)" included in the compilation "matriXX - 20 Years of Alfa Matrix (Best of Electro, Synthpop, EBM, Da)."
