Biography
Story
Monotronic was launched by Lukas at the end of February 2016 as an electropop project. Initially, Monotronic was only supposed to appear once for the "Spessart Camp Song", but that one performance was followed by over forty remixes for the Echozone label. The debut album "Katari" was released in July 2019, focusing on beloved house cats. Musically, Monotronic moves between trance, techno, dance, and house with German lyrics.
On the album "Lost & Found", vocals were deliberately avoided to bring more feeling into the melodies. Lukas, from the southern Hesse province near Frankfurt am Main, learned to play the keyboard at an early age but stopped his lessons at 15 to start making his own beats on the PC. There were always interruptions and new beginnings. The first real project can be seen as André Miro from 2014, which was discontinued in 2019 to fully concentrate on Monotronic. The artist is also featured on KracRadio with the track "Memories Of Summer."
