Biography
Story
Go_A is a Ukrainian folktronica band formed in 2012, based in Kyiv. The band consists of vocalist Kateryna Pavlenko, keyboardist and percussionist Taras Shevchenko, Ihor Didenchuk, and Ivan Hryhoriak. Their name combines the English word "Go" with the Greek letter "Alpha", symbolizing the beginning of everything and a return to roots, which is reflected in their near-exclusive use of the Ukrainian language in their songs.
Their debut album, #Ідиназвук, was released in 2016. In 2021, Go_A represented Ukraine in the Eurovision Song Contest with their song "Shum", finishing in fifth place. On KracRadio, their track "SHUM (obsqr edit)" is available for free download, highlighting their presence in the station's programming.
